Tanzanite gemstone is gemstone for december born. Tanzanite is relatively new gemstone among all gemstones. Tanzanite is a bluish purple gemstone that shows different colors when we see it from different directions. Tanzanite looks blue from one direction, purple from another, and other bronze, adding fine depths to the color. The beautiful blue color of tanzanite is possible after heat treatment on it.

Initially tanzanite occurs as colorless, yellow green or brown but when these are heated at 300^o c to 400^o c then color of these crystals becomes blue-purple.

Tanzanite gemstones are very sensitive so that we prevent them from scratches and heat. We should never wear tanzanite gemstone jewellery when we are doing rough work and doing some work using chemicals.
